VILLAGE CHURCH MISSIONS MINISTRY
Missions both home and foreign are an integral to who we are at Village Church, just as it is for the denomination to which we belong: The Christian and Missionary Alliance. Missions is our middle name, you might say.
Take a few minutes to check out the web site of The Christian and Missionary Alliance and hear the stories of those people whose lives have been transformed by the truth and power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Then find out more about how we do missions here at Village Church as we partner with The Christian and Missionary Alliance, so you can partner with us.

Here at Village Church, we actively participate in God’s world-wide work in four ways:
Education
Through our Annual Missions Conference each fall, gift subscriptions to all who regularly attend to aLife the official magazine of The Christian and Missionary Alliance. We also include a mission’s emphasis in our teaching and preaching for all ages, we intentionally seek to educate and inspire mission’s involvement, we regularly view video’s what God is doing around the world. Missions is not just something missionaries do, it is something we all do.
Praying
One of the key ways we partner with our missionaries is through informed intercessory prayer (2 Cor. 1:8-11). Members are encouraged to keep abreast of current missions-related prayer concerns, praying for the expressed needs of actual missionaries serving in specific areas of the world.
Giving
The primary means by which we financially support our missionaries is through contributions to The Christian and Missionary Alliance Great Commission Fund (GCF). By giving to the GCF, we support over 700 missionaries world-wide. We also give to CAMA Services the Compassion and Mercies Associates of The Christian and Missionary Alliance who provide relief around the world. We also partner with missionaries around the world by participating in Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse.
Going
One of the most effective ways to foster a deeper appreciation of God’s missionary heart is to catch it by going on a short-term mission trip. Each year we will seek to provide affordable opportunities for people to experience cross-cultural ministry first hand through trips arranged by the National Office of The Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Here at Village Church, we actively participate in God’s work locally with our benevolent fund collected monthly when we celebrate The Lord’s Supper together.
